Thomas Cracolici

–

Bellevue, Ohio

Thomas George Cracolici, 70 years, 2 months, 7 days went to be with God on May 29, 2026 in Lorain, Ohio. He was born March 22, 1956 to Thomas and Oleta Sammie (Gilpin) Cracolici in Port Jefferson Station, Suffolk, New York.

After his parents divorced, the kids and their Dad moved to Georgia and later to Florida when his dad was transferred. At 17 years old, Tom enlisted into the US Navy as an Aircraft Mechanic. During Vietnam, he served for 2 years, 3 months and 27 days.

In 1975 he married his first wife, Lori Cline. They were married for 3 years but remained friends until her death in 2001. He married his second wife, Debra D. Wright in 1981, and they had a son, Kyle Thomas. Their marriage ended in divorce in 1983. Then in January of 1988 he met the love of his life, Rebecca L. Fisher and they were together for 38 years, until his death.

He hung drapes with his dad and said it was his favorite job. He worked on oil rigs for a while and was also a short order cook and enjoyed cooking at home. He ran his own lawn service in Florida, T.C.'s Lawn Care, where he loved being his own boss and being outdoors. He sold insurance for Allstate. Tom worked for Whirlpool for almost 20 years until he had to retire because of his Parkinsons. Parkinsons may have slowed him down, but he put up a 6 foot fence around his backyard for his rescue dogs Harriet and Athena. Now his rescues are enjoying running in the yard.

Tom was a true man, through and through. Gentle, funny and kind.

He is survived by the love of his life, Rebecca; their granddaughter they raised Pamela (Keith) Braden of Bellevue, OH; his son, Kyle; Rebecca's children, Stephanie (Jeremy) Wyers Shoemaker of Oak Harbor, Washington, Michael "Gene" Reighard, East Moline, Illinois; Siblings, Linda Dodge, Diane Cracolici, Robert Cracolici, John Cracolici, Dawn Ford, all of Florida and Leondra Bray of Long Island, New York. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Denise Armentrout, Michael Cracolici and Danielle Bray.
