Susan B. (Williams) Myers Obituary (1946

Susan B. Myers, 76, of Republic, unexpectedly died at her home on Monday, December 4, 2023. Susan was born in Fremont on December 15, 1946 to the now deceased Donna (Collins) and Dale Williams. She was a 1965 graduated of Clyde High School and then in 1969 from Bowling Green State University. Mrs. Myers had taught school, and ended her working career at The Whirlpool Corp. in 2005. Susan was a member of Grace Community Church, where she had taught Sunday School. She loved to read! She was a terrific baker, especially her Christmas trees! She also loved her family, the great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Mrs. Myers liked her trips to Florida and looked forward to them every year. Her two children, Matthew (Laura) Myers of Republic and Betsy Kuhns of Tiffin, along with eight grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, Michael, Chelsea, Shannon, Samantha, Richard III and Hunter all survive. Ther are seven beloved great grandchildren, along with her siblings, Chuck (Mary) Williams, Cindy (Tim) Murphy, all of Clyde, Jim (Joey) Williams of Florida and Mike (Nora) Williams of Clyde that survive as well. Visitation will be on Friday, December 8,2023 from 11:00 am until the service at 1:00 pm at Grace Community Church, Smith Road Fremont, Ohio. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm with burial to follow in McPherson Cemetery, Clyde. A Celebration of Susan's life will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 3:00pm at Grace Community Church with a light luncheon available. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Grace Community Church or the Clyde Public Library.
