Sandra Ritenour

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Sandra L. Ritenour, born on November 22, 1945, in Bellevue, OH, who departed this life on February 21, 2026. Sandra was a witty and spirited woman, gifted with a compassionate heart and a talent for music. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and a treasured member of her community.

Sandra was a lifelong resident of Bellevue, OH. A special bond of love connected Sandra with her family; she was a beacon of strength, always ready to lend a helping hand. A gifted organist and pianist, Sandra was known for her musical talents, having played the piano and organ at Zion United Church of Christ, Fireside for many years. She was a member of the Bellevue Eagles and held secretarial posts at Auxter Funeral Home and her church. Prior to her retirement, Sandra was an employee at Hogues IGA. Her hobbies included reading, attending plays, and most importantly, spending precious time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sandra leaves behind a loving legacy in her family: her husband, Todd, her children, Christopher (Peggy) Lieske, Dana (Stewart) Smith, and Troy (Melinda) Lieske, her treasured grandchildren: Jared (Gabrielle) Lieske, Caden (Cristina) Lieske, Shayne Smith, Tiffany (Ross) DeLuca, Brandon (Anna) Lieske, Dylan Lieske, Breanna (Zack) Thoss, Shianne Lieske; and great-grandchildren: Maddox, Reighlyn, Josie, Emarie, Cameron, Ethan, Kalani. She is also survived by her sister, Linda (Ray Wiseman) Rohrbacher. Sandra now joins in eternal rest her parents, Charles and Olive Weller, her first husband, Robin Lieske, second husband, Donald Jones, granddaughter, Cassandra Smith, and her brother Gary Weller.

As a faithful member of Zion United Church of Christ, Sandra lived by the scripture in Psalm 100:1-2, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing." A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 1pm - 3pm at the Zion United Church of Christ, Fireside, 13525 East Township Road 178, Bellevue, Ohio.
