Sandra K. (Ball) Mcclenathan Obituary (1945

Sandra K. McClenathan, 78, formerly of Fremont, more recently of Clyde, died at Heritage Village on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Sandra was born in Sandusky on September 7, 1945 to the now deceased Eleanor (Bentrim) and Ardra Ball. She had attended Clyde and Fremont Ross schools. For many years, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clyde. Sandra had been a wonderful cook and kept busy with crossword and word search puzzles. Mrs. McClenathan had retired from ECI where she had been a care giver. Survivors include two children, Ellie Guhn of Fremont and Clayton (Sandra L.) McClenathan of Gypsum, along with five grandchildren, Sara, Kendra; Ashley, Shane and Clayton. Her two sisters, Helen Meadow and Kathy Ball and nephew, Brandon Meadows all survive in Clyde. Eight great grandchildren also are surviving. Sandra was preceded in death by two sons, Don McClenathan and F. Kenny McClenathan, Jr. Her former husband, Floyd Kenneth McClenathan, Sr. is deceased as well. On Friday, December 1, 2023, a service, beginning at 10:00 am will be held at The First Baptist Church, Brown Street, Clyde. A time of celebration, with a luncheon will follow the service at the church. Memorials, if desired, may be made to The First Baptist Church.
