Robert A. Bowman

Robert A. Bowman, born on October 11, 1936, in Monroe, Louisiana, passed peacefully on March 18, 2025, in hospice care. Known for his smart mind and humble nature, Robert lived his life with both dedication and resilience. He lived most of his live in Seneca County near Bellevue, Ohio.

Robert was a retired chemist at Central Soya. He spent many hours enjoying his hobbies of gardening, playing dartball, and watching baseball and basketball. Robert was also a valued member of Zion United Church of Christ, Fireside. As well as being a member of Ruritan Club, where he continued to serve his community.

Robert leaves behind a loving family who will remember him fondly. His survivors include his son David Bowman and his wife Ruth, and his son R. Steven Bowman and his wife Connie, his daughter Suzanne Kopko and her husband Christopher. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucy Bowman, his father, Robert A. Bowman, and his mother, Marion Lowe.

His burial will be private at Fireside Cemetery, Bellevue, OH, where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife.
