Richard C. Radloff

Richard C. Radloff, 79, of Bellevue, died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Firelands Regional Medical Center. He was born October 23, 1936 in Sandusky to Carl and Evelyn Jetta (Schau) Radloff. Richard was raised in Port Clinton, where he was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, and graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1954. He served our county in the US Navy as a draftsman. He later attended Ohio University. He had worked as a kitchen designer and sales person at Port Clinton Lumber. Richard enjoyed golf, bowling, reading, and cooking steaks at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and a member of the Port Clinton Masonic Lodge. On August 6, 1960, he married Martha Sebastiano in St. John's Lutheran Church. She survives in Bellevue. Also surviving are their children: Todd (Julie) Radloff of Bellevue; Mark (Amy) Radloff of Bellevue; Robyn (Craig) Steenblock of Texas; and Dustin (Holly) Radloff of Sandusky; grandchildren: Jordan, Taylor, Talia, Evan, Jenna, and Liam; and great-granddaughter, Audrey. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dorothy Fritz. Visitation will be 3-5:00pm Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue. His funeral service will be at 5:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Bruce Kent officiating. Memorials may be given to Stein Hospice.
