Rex A. Stetler Obituary (1964

Rex A. Stetler, 60, of Bellevue, passed away December 25, 2024 at the Bellevue Care Center. He was born June 6, 1964 in Bellevue to the late Betty J. (Schrickel) and Vernon F. Stetler. Rex grew up in a rodeo family and as a boy, he had a pony named Sundance. Rex was born with spinal bifida, and he rode Sundance all over the place since he didn't have use of his legs. He also enjoyed cowboy action shooting and had been a member of a sportsmen's club where he liked to shoot. Rex was a NASCAR fan as well. He loved to spend time with family and was always there at the drop of a hat if you needed help with anything. Rex is survived by a son, Shawn Stetler, brother, Richard (Dianne) Stetler of Clyde, nieces, Mindy (Travis) Morris of Connersville, IN, and Andrea (Trent) Smythe of Bellevue. Visitation will be 10 AM Saturday, December 28, 2024 until time of funeral service in Mitchell Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St, Clyde. Pastor Dan Duffy will officiate. Burial will follow in Ellsworth Cemetery.
