Ramona Clark

Ramona Clark, age 79, of Clyde, Ohio, passed away on January 29, 2026 at Fisher Titus Hospital. Ramona, known affectionately by her loved ones as "Monie", was born on September 16, 1946, in Jeffersonville, IN to Owen and Jesse (Foster) Hamner. She was a devoted homemaker and a pillar of her community. Her ambition and courage were evident in everything she did—from raising her family to serving in her local church. Always humble, Ramona never sought recognition for her deeds, but her compassionate nature was apparent to all who knew her.

Monie was a faithful member of the Clyde Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years and worked in the office performing clerical duties. Her love for her faith was as deep as her love for her family, and she exemplified the Christian belief of "serving one another in love" (Galatians 5:13). Monie also took pleasure in simple joys, such as reading James Patterson novels and spending time with her family. The most important thing in Ramona's life was her family, whom she cherished deeply.

Ramona is survived by her children: Bo Clark of Clyde, Ohio, Janet Trimble of Clyde, Ohio, and Rachel Noe of Clyde, Ohio, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Jesse Hamner, husband, Bobby Clark, children, Todd Noe & Christie Clark, and her brothers, Joe and Matt Hamner.

A gathering to honor Ramona's life will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 10:00am with a Memorial Service immediately following at 11:00am, at the Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, OH. Memorial contributions in honor of Ramona may be made to the Church of the Nazarene in Clyde, OH.
