Naomi Conley

–

Bellevue, Ohio

Naomi Ruth Conley, known fondly as "Nonie", aged 90, of Clyde, was called to her heavenly home on January 27, 2026. Born in Kansas, OH, on January 31, 1935, to Earl and Freda Michaels, Naomi was a woman of great strength, compassion, and resilience.

Naomi graduated from Clyde High School in 1953. She married Lowell Conley on June 24, 1955 in Clyde, OH. She was a beloved member of her community, having retired from Whirlpool in Clyde, where she served in personnel handling insurance claims. Her dedication extended well beyond her professional life, as she was an avid volunteer, devoting her time to St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Clyde Back Door Food Pantry. Her love for baking and cooking was a blessing to many, as she would often prepare meals for church dinners and bereavements. Naomi's selfless contributions did not go unnoticed, earning her the prestigious title of Clyde Citizen of the Year. An active member of the Clyde Moose, she also helped organize bus trips with Travel My Way alongside Linda Baker.

Naomi is survived by her son, Thomas (Sheryl) Conley of Huron, her daughter Trudy Conley of St. Louis, Missouri, her brother Robert (Charlotte) Michaels of Powell, her grandchildren Dr. Thomas (Laura) Conley, Jim (Laura) Conley, Bethany (Ken) Gross, and Devon (Megan) Fischer, her great-grandchildren, Iris and Ian Conley, Brooks Conley, Aurora Gross and Sawyer Fischer. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Freda Michaels, her loving husband, Lowell Conley, her infant son Timothy Conley, her brother Paul Michaels, and her sisters Beulah Daugherty and Marilyn Kish.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, 218 South Main Street, Clyde.
