Mary A. Noftz

Mary A. Noftz, 93, of Clyde, died at The Willows, Bellevue on Monday, October 12, 2015. Mrs. Noftz was born May 29, 1922 in Fremont to the now deceased John and Bertha (Bower) Connelly. She was a member of Grace Community Church, Fremont. Mary enjoyed reading and Bingo. On October 28, 1946 she married John Ellsworth Noftz. He survives along with their children, Stephanie Caraway (John) Hoffman), Clyde; John Jr. (Petra) Noftz, Green Springs; and Jody Mikolajczyk, Fremont. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Ray Caraway; Lance Noftz; Amber Stancil; and Michelle McCubbin; three step grandchildren, Melissa Hoffman; Karrie Hoffman and Heather McLaughlin, seven great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren. Her cats, Johnny and Mary survive as well. Mrs. Noftz was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelly Noftz and son-in-law, Anthony Mikolajczyk. Her siblings John Connelly; Alice Reamer and Isabell Schwartz are also deceased. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 3-6:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10:30 Am at the funeral home with Rev. Forest Kirchenbach officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Sandusky County Humane Society.
