Lois Marie Ferguson

Lois Marie Ferguson died Tuesday morning, March 10, 2015 in her beloved state of Alabama. Born to Will and Tempie Winsett of Hamilton, Alabama, on the 29th of March, 1929, Lois Marie spent much of her life in Clyde, Ohio with her husband William Blanton who predeceased her, as did one of her four children, William Rodney. They were life-long members of the Church of the Nazarene. Lois Marie retired from General Electric in Clyde, Ohio and with her husband, moved back to Jasper, Alabama where they built their dream home on a five acre estate. There she resided until her health necessitated a move to Harbor Chase Assisted Living and finally to Ridgeview Nursing Home. She is survived by one sister, Lorene Chandler of Hamilton, sons Danny Dwight and Ricky Dale of Clyde, Ohio and one daughter, Bonnie Jan (Davey) of Seattle who had the good fortune of spending the last 21 days of Marie's life by her bed-side. The Fergusons had 9 grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Calling hours are 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18 at the Mitchell-Auxter funeral home in Clyde. Mrs. Ferguson will be interred by her husband's side at Clyde's Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Thursday the 19th, following a grave-side service starting at 10:00 a.m.
