Katherine "Kittie" May Romeo

Katherine May "Kittie" Romeo, 97, of Clyde, died at Fremont Memorial Hospital on Oct. 31, 2013. Mrs. Romeo was born in Clyde on April 27, 1916. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran church and a former member of the Kings Daughters, Clyde and the Elderly United in Springfield, Ohio. Kittie had been formerly involved with the Cub Scout 321. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Barnhiser, Argillite, Ky..; Robert Romeo, Albuquere, N.M.; and John (Cheryl) Romeo, Clyde; eleven grandchildren, twenty four great great and twelve great-great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John Francis Romeo in 1962; her son, James Romeo in 1988 and the parents that raised her, Martin and Laura (Weller) Brayman. Graveside services will be on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at McPherson Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Tamorria officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde is assisting the family with arrangements.
