Juanita Burrows

Juanita Burrows, 92, of Green Springs, Ohio died at the Promedica Memorial Hospital, Fremont, Ohio on Sun., Aug. 24, 2014. Mrs. Burrows was born in Kentucky on March 31, 1922 to the now deceased Oscar and Honor (Clark) Jackson. She was a member of the Alliance Church in Fremont. Also a member of the Green Springs VFW Auxiliary for 59 years. On Sept. 30, 1940, she married Art Burrows, he preceded her on Aug. 9, 1987. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley (Barry) Covert, Green Springs, a son, Arthur Dwayne Burrows, Davenport, Fla; four grandchildren, including Terry (Karen) Covert; Jeff (Diane) Covert and Amy (Brian) Fjeldsted; seven great grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Juanita was preceded by four sisters, Margaret Hawkins; Grace Peters; Nona Lucas; Ellen Watts; and two brothers, Harry Jackson; Walter Jackson. Visitation will be on Wed., Aug.27, 2014 from 4:00- 8:30 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home 218 S. Main St., Clyde. The funeral will be on Thurs., Aug. 28, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Alliance Church in Fremont with the Rev. Glenn Merrill officiating. Burial will be in Green Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Memorial Hospice.
