John "Johnny" H. Glick, Sr Obituary (1928

John "Johnny" H. Glick, Sr., 83, of Clyde, died Tuesday, September, 27, 2011 at his home. He was born July 25, 1928 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Henry "Harry" Harrison Glick and Nellie (Holmes) Glick. Johnny was a press operator at the Whirlpool Corp for 43 years. He served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed farming, landscaping, and playing cards. He was a great family man. On December 5, 1953 he married Marietta (Bartlett) and she survives in Clyde. Also surviving are their children: John Glick Jr. (Gayle) of Fairfax, Virginia; Thomas Glick (Theresa) of Tiffin; Randy Glick (Marcia) of Fremont; Linda Mills (John) of Helena; Mary Lanier of Fremont; and Jason Glick of Fremont. Eleven grandchildren: April Gilck; Tabatha Glick; Thomas Glick II;Terry Glick; Amanda Glick; Jason Fox; Jonathon Mills; Tiffany Wetoskey; Matthew Lanier; Cody Lanier and Samantha Glick, and ten great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents, Johnny was also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Michelle Glick; brothers, Wesley Glick and Robert Glick and his half siblings: Eileen Bordner, Olive Miller, Winifred "Myron" Glick, and Laverne Fowler Bacot.
