John R. "Jack" Foreman

John R. "Jack" Foreman, 85, of Clyde, died at Firelands Community Hospital, Sandusky on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Mr. Foreman was born in Fremont on May 25, 1926 to the now deceased Claud and Blanche (Pittenger) Foreman. He attended Venice School through the sixth grade, and then graduated from Margaretta High School in 1944. He was a WWII Army veteran and had retired from Whirlpool Corp in 1989. Jack was a member of the Vickery Methodist Church; the Monticello Lodge #244 F&AM; 90 Clyde; 82 Bellevue Council; 56 Fremont Commandary and Ohio Prior Knights of York Cross of Honor #18. On August 31, 1954, he married Joyce Owen and she survives, along with their children, June Bonnigson (Scott Unckrich), Sandusky; Joan (Roger) Rhoad, Fremont and Jeff (Kathy) Foreman, Clyde. Eight grandchildren, Dane Bonnigson; Korrin Bonnigson; Jordan Rhoad; Jillian Rhoad; Justine Rhoad; Zachary Foreman; Alexa Foreman; Ashley Foreman also survives. His brother, James (Eileen) Foreman, survives in Whites Landing. Jack was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Wendell and Joan Foreman. He was an avid bowler and loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren.
