Joan V. Darszewski Obituary (1932

Joan V. Darszewski, 82, of Sandusky, died at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky. Mrs. Darszewski was born on Feb. 22, 1932 in Lackawana, New York ot the now deceased Harold and Matilda (Perrin) Bragg. She graduate in 1951 from Springville High School. Joan enjoyed crocheting, making numerous baby blankets and afghans; she was an avid reader and had enjoyed crafts of all kinds. Mrs. Darszewski had beena 4-H Leader and Girl Scout Advisor. On Nov. 20, 1954, she married Michael Darszewski. He preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 1978. In Oct. 1998, Joan moved to Sandusky, Ohio. She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Darszewski; Marjorie Darszewski, both of Sanduskky and Susan (Dan) Morell, Clyde. Four grandchildren, Audra; Anne; Jordan and Jared Morell also survive. One sister, Sharon Hawley, survives in Arcade, NY. Two sisters-in-law, Carol Bragg; Loretta Ciszak, and one brother-in law, Stanley Darszewski also survives. Joan was preceded in death by brothers, Dean Bragg; Harold Bragg, sister, Phyllis Reinhard; sisters-in-law, Arlene Bragg; Pearl Darszewski; and brothers-in-law, Raymond Darszewski and Elmer Ciszak. Visitation will be on Mon., Mar. 31, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the service at 11:00 AM at Norwalk Baptist Church, St. Rt. 20, Norwalk with the Rev. Joel Capizzi officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Springville, NY.
