James Oney

James Oney, 65, of Tiffin, passed away Friday afternoon, February 21, 2025 at Twilight Gardens, Norwalk. He was born July 12, 1959, in Bellevue, the son of Kathleen Oney and she survives. He graduated from Bellevue High School and attended EHOVE.
Jim was a loving and giving person. He enjoyed fixing and tinkering with things. He enjoyed planning family gatherings and spending time with family and friends. He loved animals and liked to look after neighborhood cats. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his mother, Kathleen Oney, sister, Mila (Brian Warner) Lance, nieces, Kaitlin (Winston) Klein & Emily (Adam) Rooker, nephews, Tylor (Tatum) Crawford, Zachery Crawford, Jacob (Lexi) Crawford, Tre (Kerrigan) Bell and friend, Sam Lance.
There will be a celebration of Jim's life 12:00pm-1:30pm, Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue, OH 44811 followed by a graveside service at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
