Henry Young

Henry Hans Young, aged 68, of Clyde, Ohio, passed away on April 24, 2026. He was born on August 2, 1957, in Wyandotte, MI, USA to Arwid Blum and Giselheid Blum-Young, both of whom preceded him in death. Henry touched the lives of everyone he met.

Henry served in the U.S. Army for 4 years after finishing high school, and was stationed in Germany. He resided in several places including Wyandotte, MI, Riverview, MI, and Hanover, MI before he settled in Clyde, Ohio. On July 27, 1988, he married the love of his life, Andrea Young, who survives him. Henry worked for many years as a laborer in the custom deck building and upholstery business before retiring several years ago.

In addition to his wife Andrea, Henry is survived by his siblings Arno Blum, Alfred (Fritz) Young, Gloria Niemi and Cindy Cope. He is also survived by his children Robert Young, Candice Scott, and Jacob Young. Henry cherished is grandchildren. Henry was “Opa” to Robert, Logan, Drake, Linkoln, Anikyn, Trace, Wyatt, Ravyn, and Zayleigh. He is also preceded in death by Robert Young, his step father.

Memorial Services will be conducted 11am, Thursday, May 14, 2026 at New Hope Vineyard Church, 2507 Hayes Ave, Fremont. Burial will be be at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
