Geraldine N. (Ritter) Joseph Obituary (1929

Geraldine N. Joseph, 94, formerly of Fostoria, more recently of The Gardens of Clyde, died at The Gardens on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Mrs. Joseph was born in Fostoria on March 28, 1929, to Dorothy (Warner) and Michael Ritter. She graduated from Jackson Liberty High School. She and her late husband, Charles, enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. Geraldine, like to go to the casinos, garden and in younger years fish and sew. She and Charles were married in February of 1948 and he preceded her in death in April of 2006. Survivors include three children, Donald (Peg) Joseph of Findlay; Thomas (Yoki) Joseph of San Jose, California and Nancy Myers (Michael Thieroff) of Clyde. Eleven grandchildren, Michelle Antram, Donald Joseph, Jr., Marci Shinabery, Douglas Joseph; Kenny Joseph, Lena Joseph, Sarah Joseph; Fred Joseph, Christopher Joseph; Matthew Hoerig, Michael Hoerig, along with twelve great grandchildren, Nicholas, Taylor, Donald III, Avery, Sidney, Zachary, Isabella, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Darrian, Jesse and Maddie also survive. Her sister, Betty Flicker of Fremont survives as well. Mrs. Joseph was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Richard Joseph and nine siblings, Henry Ritter, Eth Ritter, Mary Ellen Ritter, Irene Ann Ritter, James " Jack" Ritter; Robert Ritter, Edward Ritter and William Ritter. Private family services will be held.
