Genevieve "Jenny" Ledman

Genevieve "Jenny" Ledman, 96, of Clyde, died at her home on Saturday, August 13, 2016. Jenny was born in Sandusky County, Ohio on February 14, 1920 to Franklin C. and Florence (Schultz) Golden. She was a 1938 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Jenny was a member of the Clyde VFW auxiliary; Clyde MOOSE; Clyde Eagles and had been a volunteer at the former St. Francis Gift Shop, Green Springs. in 1989, she retired from the Singer/Eaton Controls after 30 years of service. Mrs. Ledman is survived by her three children, William Huss, II, of Seal Beach California; Guy Ledman of Clyde and Alice Auxter (Bill Strong, Sr.) of Clyde. Five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren also survive. Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Ledman, whom she married in 1946, in 1975. Her parents and sister, Norma Behnken is also deceased. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Candace Seaman officiating. Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to Clyde Christian Church.
