Betty was especially known for her wonderful cooking, catering many events throughout the years and running the kitchen at the hunt club.
Betty was active in the Ohio Cowbells and the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association, which led the Wrights on many enjoyable vacations around the country. In 1984, she and Bob received the Ohio Beef Cattle Industry Excellence Award. She was a member of Townsend Grange, Sandusky County Farm Bureau, 4-H, a past leader of the Townsend Busy Homemakers, and a founding member of the Townsend Friendly Couples Farm Bureau Council.
