Cleona M. Garman Obituary (1922

Cleona M. Garman, 90,of Bellevue, died on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Willows in Willard. Mrs. Garman was born in Attica, Ohio on September 14, 1922 to the now deceased Carl and Ora (Featheringill) Williams. She graduated from Attica High School in 1940. On December 15, 1940 she married Emery D. Garman, he preceded her in death on April 21, 2003. Cleona had retired from General Electric in Bellevue and had formerly been the Lions Club cook and had baked pies for the former Kistler's IGA in Bellevue. For a number of years, she had been a cook at Schumaker School. Survivors include four daughters, Sharon (Thomas) Stober, Shelby, Ohio; Beverly "Jean" Ewald, Prescott, Arizona; Anita (James) McCue, Lakewood, Washington and Patricia (Dan) Shaffer, Bloomville, Ohio. Nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, along with two sisters, Clara Smith, Fremont and Adelphia Martin, Attica also survive. Mrs. Garman was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion Williams and Bruce Williams and two sisters, Carol Loar and Pearl Tusing. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 10:00 Am until the funeral service at Noon at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. Nephew, Deacon Kenneth Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Bellevue City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bellevue Hospital ICU or the Hospice of your choice.
