Brittany Ann Kimberlin

–

Sandusky, Ohio

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brittany Ann Kimberlin on Thursday, September 24, 2026, following a courageous battle with ALS. Brittany was born to Brian and Amy (Betschman) Loretta on March 18, 1993, in Norwalk, OH. She married Ben Kimberlin on September 14, 2019, and he survives. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and friend. Brittany was a charismatic and spirited soul, a beacon of creativity and talent that shone brightly in the lives of those who knew her. Her unique zest for life was a testament to her personal motto: "Art is not what you see, but what you make others see."

Brittany was a gifted tattoo artist, a profession she lovingly embraced for 15 years. Her artistry was not confined to the realm of body art alone, as she was also passionate about crafting and cooking. She had a knack for turning simple ingredients into delicious dishes, generously sharing her culinary delights with friends and family. Brittany was an ardent lover of nature and the outdoors, enjoying the simple pleasure of riding with her husband on their motorcycle. Her home was always filled with oddities and curiosities, a testament to her eclectic taste and creative spirit. Every holiday was a grand occasion, with Halloween being her absolute favorite. Her home would transform into a vibrant spectacle, echoing her lively spirit and love for life.

Brittany was a designated tattoo artist for the Outlaws during the peak of her career, a testament to her exceptional talent and creativity. Yet, beyond her professional achievements, what mattered most to Brittany was her love for animals, especially her loyal dog, Banjo, who was always by her side. Her love for animals extended to all creatures, great and small - a testament to her caring and compassionate nature.

Brittany is survived by her spouse and caregiver, Ben Kimberlin, her mothers, Lucinda (Robert) Fester and Amy (Tom) Thomas, and her siblings, Mya Loretta, Laurin Maestas, Reece Thomas, Dylan Thomas, and Gavyn Thomas. She was preceded in death by her father, Brian Loretta, and her grandmother, Teanggeow Loretta.

Visitation for Brittany will be held from 3-6pm on Sunday, September 27, 2026 in the Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, OH. Memorial contributions may be made in Brittany's honor to the Erie County Humane Society.

Brittany's contagious laughter, her vibrant spirit, and her unforgettable artistry will truly be missed. As we remember Brittany, we are reminded of the words of Vincent Van Gogh: "The sadness will last forever." Yet, in the midst of our grief, we find comfort in the shared memories of her radiant spirit and boundless creativity. We invite all who knew Brittany to share their memories and upload photos to her memorial page, a tribute to a life lived with passion, creativity, and love.
